How does Tabadulat ensure Shariah compliance?

We apply AAOIFI Shariah Standard No. 21, the global benchmark for Islamic finance, and our Shariah Supervisory Board oversees the methodology. Screening covers business activity, non-permissible income, interest bearing debt and interest bearing investments.

Can I see why a stock passes or fails?

Yes. Every stock has a full screening breakdown in the app and on its page on this site, including each AAOIFI screen it passes or fails and its dividend purification factor. The Halal stock screener is free to use and does not require an account.

What does Tabadulat charge?

US stocks trade at zero commission. Other charges, including custody and currency conversion, are set out in full on the pricing page. There are no charges that are not listed there.

Is my money safe with Tabadulat?

Tabadulat Limited is regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority under Financial Services Permission 250032. Client money is held with Tier 1 banks in non-interest-bearing accounts.

Will you tell me if a stock I own stops being Halal?

Yes. We re-screen every listed stock monthly. If one of your holdings stops meeting AAOIFI criteria, we notify you and show you the full breakdown of which screen it failed, at no extra cost.

Does Tabadulat give investment advice?
